Recycle Trees Dec. 26-Jan. 11 With ‘Merry Mulch” Program

Eau Claire County residents can continue the giving spirit of the holidays by recycling their Christmas trees through a joint program with the City of Eau Claire Forestry Division and Eau Claire County.

Participants can drop off their Christmas trees Dec. 26 – Jan. 11 in the Carson Park parking lot free of charge as part of the “Merry Mulch” program. Collected trees are then turned into mulch, which is later made available for free to county residents in the springtime as landscaping material.
