Microscope: Just Say No to Denial, Part 1

Just last week I contacted the Wisconsin DNR, requesting an on-camera interview concerning “the role of the DNR as scientific resource.”

I wanted to ask the department about how it plans to address the imminent threat of human-caused climate change. My request for an interview was refused. For the fourth time.

Fortunately for me — but more importantly for you, the citizenry of Wisconsin — I found someone willing to address these and other important and timely questions. Tom Hauge — former Director of Wildlife Management, and recently retired from 30-some years of sound service with the DNR — took the time to talk resource, response, and responsible science in this, the latest installment of “Microscope”
