Microscope: Hot out of the ARCTIC Zone
The Eau Claire Area School District is trying something fresh. It’s called “Innovation Zones” — a new twist on the old ideal that kids learn best when internally-motivated by their natural curiosity. In this week’s “Microscope,” Northstar Middle School’s Ali McMahon shares details about the ARCTIC Zone — an I-Zone initiative that she and fellow teacher Andy Brown co-created.
