Senator Ron Johnson Gets a Piece of Constituent’s Minds at Altoona Mosque

Seven predominantly Muslim nations are targeted in Donald Trump’s proposed travel ban. Trump says that the ban will clamp down on terrorists trying to enter the country, despite the fact that – according to the Cato Institute – no refugee accepted into the US since 1980 has ever been implicated in a major fatal terrorist attack.

So when Senator Ron Johnson dropped by the Islamic Center and Mosque in Altoona on February 18th, he fielded an hour of spirited questions from Muslim and non-Muslim constituents about the divisive tones of some of the Republican-led administration’s new pet policies.
