A Wisconsin Farmboy in the Galápagos, Part 1: There From Here

Which is farther west, the Galápagos Islands, or Eau Claire, Wisconsin?
There are 59 islands in Galápagos, most of them the dream destination of nature lovers and photographers.
How I got employed to work in a a wilderness wonderland 600 miles west of the coast of South America is a story worth sharing — in words and images — so I’m going to spend the next few weeks doing just that.
Got your passport handy?

(Answer: If you answered either Eau Claire or Galápagos, you are correct…the islands are directly south of Eau Claire, on the 91st parallel)

an enjoy and who will never get the chance to see that part of the world in person. Thanks for letting
