New Series: Veterans Skydive for Life

Veterans Skydive for Life will follow Jim Osterman as he travels across the country helping veterans battle suicide through skydiving. Valley Media Works is teaming up with Jim to spread the word regarding this issue, through a documentary built from footage Jim obtains from this adventure, including PEG stations from around the country. Jim will also be updating his video journal through social media,

Coming soon, an interview with Jim Osterman.

His Facebook page is about bringing awareness to the number of Veteran suicides everyday. In 2016 Jim made a trip after hearing of the suicide of two friends, Steve and Frank. He will be making a similar trip in 2018, only this time it will be 3 times as long and more than double the miles. Veteran suicide was at 22 per day in 2016 and is currently at 20. The plan is to have that number drop as quickly as possible until it is ZERO. These men and women need to know they have people that care and are happy to listen and help. Jim’s way of doing this is through the sport of Skydiving and the willingness to listen. Please help him obtain 20,000 road miles on a motorcycle. He wants to take at least 20 Veterans Skydiving and or meet with them, and sit and talk, and introduce them to all of you so they know they can reach out and get help. We also want to see at least 20,000 people following this ride. Jim will be doing daily updates, and interviews with Veterans special events through the trip. Please help Jim help our Veterans. They deserve it!
