Tech Petting Zoo at the Library

Thinking about buying a tablet or e-reader and want to compare them before you buy?  The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire is holding a Tech Petting Zoo event on Thursday, February 19 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Eau Claire Room on the library’s lower level. No registration is required and the event is free and open to the public.

The event will give participants a chance to compare and try out several devices including an iPad Air, Kindle, Kindle Fire, Nook and Surface Pro.  Library staff will be on hand to answer questions about the differences between the devices.
