High Jumpers

In the crazy rich tradition of Eau Clairians rocketing off the edge of a sky-high hill at interstate highway speeds without a parachute, two brothers — both born and raised in Eau Claire — compete in Nordic Combined Skiing events around the frozen world. Adam & Ben Loomis met to talk fast twitch, VO2, and (the lack of) fear of heights while Ben took part in the Silver Mine Invitational on January 27th & 28th. Both young men have their sights set on PyeongChang (Korea, that is). Let’s jump right to it!
